Spooooooooky!

I have this coworker who constantly asks me “Are your sure?” after I give him instructions. I don’t know why he does this but it is highly annoying. I mean really really really really fucking annoying.

He asks after *every* single directive. If I say “please take this to the mail room” he asks if I am sure. Yes, I am sure. OK? Now shut up and do what I say. Grrrrr.

So the missus and myself spent the weekend in San Diego (as is evidenced by my posts this weekend). Hooray for our anniversary and hooray for my Birthday.

I had a spectacular time! It was a full tiki weekend. We stayed at an awesom tropical tiki hotel, drank at swingin’ tiki bars and consumed vast quantities o ftasty food at many different tiki eateries.

Oh and there was the the polynesian art gallery and the tiki retail stores too. Basically it was one big tiki orgy.

I got a super duper amount of presents, the most lavish of which is a portable bluetooth keyboard for my Palm (and I am typing on it right now). My sister and her better half also sent me some great things too. Thanks for the movies and the books bbs, I loves ‘em!

I am soooo spoiled. I feel very loved and pretty damn special if I do say so myself. Happy fragging birthday to me!

By comparison we look frugal. A VW Beetle and a Kia Sportage.

Me and the missus are sooooooo lavish no?

Or at least that’s what my neighbors think. They upgraded to these two vehicles recently. A Ford F150 truck and a Cadilac Escalade.

What were their prior vehicles? A Geo Tracker and an old beat up Chevy van.

I wonder what their monthly gas bill looks like?

Saying so long to the lovey Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn in San Diego. We had a lovely time. Sadly, now it’s back to reality and other such tedium. Sigh.

This is called “The Rain Forrest”. It’s huge and really really good. Kelly? You and Scoot need to go to the Bali Hai and order this drink!

I love Halloween, but I hate rats. Why couldn’t they have some nice flesh eating zombies on display instead?
